“You think my un-sober state was funny?” She laughed too because it kinda was. “That was one of the most embarrassing times of my life. I’m surprised Tina didn’t punch me for touching you.” She heard her phone ringing in her purse and dashed over to it before the ringer go too loud. She flipped it open an started to talk, when she was done, she turned to Mike and frowned. “My dad needs me at home.”
“It was hilarious.” He laughed curling his fingers into her hair and nodded his head. He dropped his hands to rest on his stomach. “Tina wouldn’t have punched you.” He chuckled and shook his head. He watched as her phone rang and then pouted. Mike didn’t exactly want her to leave, but he didn’t want her to think him clingy so he nodded. “Alright. I’ll call you.” He said sitting up and kissing her cheek. “I’d walk you out- but…” He said gesturing to his raised ankle. He tucked a strand of her ear behind her ear and smiled. “I’ll come up with that amazing date while I lie here.” He teased.
